二 | 半决赛中，葛曼棋虽然把成绩提高到11秒13，但面对众多强手，未能再进一步。从成绩上看，两名中国选手不仅与包揽前三名的牙买加选手差距非常大，与其他欧美高手也有很大距离。

三 | 且不说决赛中获得冠军的弗雷泽·普莱斯跑出了10秒67的赛会最好成绩，即使在半决赛中，葛曼棋所在的第二小组也有5人突破了11秒。而梁小静和葛曼棋的个人最好成绩分别只有11秒13和11秒04。

身高1米58的梁小静认为，论身高，自己和弗雷泽·普莱斯差不多，但对手在“力量、技术、能力”方面都比自己强很多。

四 | 葛曼棋则告诉记者，欧美选手主要强在力量和对节奏的把握上。

五 | 两人都认为，力量和把握节奏的优势表现在比赛中，就是中国选手能够在前半程压住对手，但在后半程就缺乏后劲，被对手轻松超越。梁小静说：“我在前程可以力压她们，但过了60米，她们提速特别快，我认为欠缺的就是力量、核心的稳定和耐力。”葛曼棋表示，自己在后程保持速度的能力与对手相差太大：“我在国内比赛，后程算比较强的，但到了国外和她们比就差很多。

六 | ”另外，缺乏大赛经验也是一个很关键的因素。葛曼棋认为，因为缺少大赛历练，比赛中很容易被对手的节奏带乱。“我们必须有机会经常和最高水平的人一起比赛，以赛代练才是提高的关键。”不过，苏炳添在世锦赛期间接受记者采访时，认为中国女子短跑选手与世界最高水平的差距并不像看上去那么大，现在只是要注意细节的把握，再就是需要时间。“这几年，中国男女短跑进步都很快，以前很难想象会有两名女选手有资格参加世锦赛，这说明我们现在的方向不能说全对，但已经有那个苗头。这个时候应该继续保持，等到有一定的厚度，才能突破，关键是要有踏实的基础。

七 | ”对于后半程的劣势，苏炳添认为自己以前也存在这个问题，但“这不是能力的问题，是节奏的问题，我为什么要把起跑脚改过来？就是换节奏”。多年前苏炳添与博尔特等欧美选手同场竞技时，他前半程经常领先，总是在后面被超越。最近几年这个问题逐渐改善，就是他节奏把握得比较好。去年东京奥运会上，苏炳添取得了历史性的突破。

八 | “现在与欧美选手一起比赛，心理上已经没有畏惧感。再加上大家经常一起训练，一共就那么几个运动员，其实很多时候他们反倒会害怕你。”苏炳添说。葛曼棋表示，她和教练仔细分析了本次世锦赛比赛的情况，也找到了一些需要改进的地方，以后会有针对性地加强速度耐力训练，冬训时一定要重新训练200米，这是她以前非常反感的距离。“我们要向炳哥（苏炳添）取经，他在力量方面加强得特别多，女队应该向他好好学习。”葛曼棋说。
